Eldritch Guardian is a mob added by the Thaumcraft 4 mod. It does not spawn naturally in the Overworld, but it does spawn in Eldritch Dimension and from Dark Aura Nodes in Eldritch Portals. It can also spawn as one of effects of warp (needs full blocks with low light level). When this mob is neaby, the player will have a fog shader effect and brightness option decreased. This mob can do melee damage, but it can also summon a fireball-like projectiles to attack from a distance. This mob does not have legs texture so it seems that it is floating in mid-air, but this is not true. These mobs in Eldritch Dimension have also 10 Runic Shield to protect themselves.
