Boots of the Traveler is an armor item added by the Thaumcraft 4 mod. It has some attribute modifiers applied when this item is equipped. It allows the player to jump 3 blocks high, boosts the speed of travelling both on land and through water and allows the wearer to step up full blocks as if they were slabs.

Walking speed with Boots of the Traveler equipped is increased to close to the default running speed, however, running speed with the boots equipped is not similarly boosted. Thus there is little benefit to be gained from running with the boots equipped, as it is little faster than walking and additionally drains the hunger bar.
