The Soul Forge, part of the Soul Shards mod, is used to make Soul Shards (pre-Minecraft 1.5).
Recipe[edit]
Usage[edit]
It has multiple recipes, of which all use Corrupted Essence and an additional item. The most important recipe is making Soul Shards. This is done with a Diamond (this has been changed in the 1.5 version of Soul Shards; please see the Soul Shard page). It uses eight pieces of Corrupted Essence to make three Soul Shards.
Recipes:
Iron Ore or ingot > 3 Corrupted Fragments
Gold Ore or ingot > 1 Corrupted Ingot
Diamond > 3 Soul Shards
Cobblestone > Netherrack
The updated version of the mod has more recipes, but is not in the modpacks yet.
