The Redstone Transmitter is a logic gate added by RFTools mod. It is used to transmit a wireless redstone signal.
The Redstone Transmitter only has an input side. The signal is then sent to a Redstone Receiver working on the same channel. To connect both devices, a player has to sneak+right-click on a Redstone Transmitter with a Redstone Receiver in hand.
Note: both Redstone Transmitter and Receiver blocks have to be in a loaded chunk.
