The Dimensional Anchor is a block added by the Dimensional Anchors mod. It is used to load chunks into memory to keep the game processes going without the Player present in the given chunk. The loaded area can be specified using the block's GUI. Pressing the F9 key, shows the loaded chunks, and also makes the Dimensional Anchor visible through walls, making this useful for finding it. The loaded area is highlighted in red above the Player's head, and becomes darker if two Anchors load the same chunk.

Configuration[edit]
Settings may be changed in the immibis.cfg configuration file:
The line: chunkloader.useFuel=true
makes an Anchor require fuel to run.
Adding the line chunkloader.allowFuelPiping=true
makes it possible to provide fuel to an Anchor using transportation methods from mods such as BuildCraft, RedPower 2 or Thermal Expansion or even using a Turtle from the ComputerCraft mod.
The valid fuel items and energy value of each fuel item can also be configured. The amount of fuel usage depends on the number of loaded chunks. For example, an Anchor covering a 3x3 chunk area will use 9 times as much fuel as an Anchor which keeps a single chunk loaded.
Usage[edit]
Dimensional Anchor has no known uses in crafting.
